SAS-3 Group Buy. Limited to 5.

Goodday all,

I've received permission from the site owner to proceed with this group-buy.

I will be limiting this group buy to a total of 5 units. (Including my own.)

Below are the 5 personnel who are inboard on this.

I have no interest in getting involved in a huge order. I want one for myself. If I've got to pay an importer $$$ to bring mine in, I might as well split the cost with a few other folks.

I do not want to get involved in a situation where stuff gets siezed by customs, or impounded, or whatever. This will be 100% above board, and with the proper paperwork and procedures followed.

Taxes, duties, importation fees, etc will be paid, and will be split evenly amongst the 5 buyers.

From another source, a pair of SAS-3 kits delivered in the US cost about $560 (US). So, the base price, per kit, is approximately $280. Plus whatever it ends up costing to get them across the border and delivered to each of us. So, I'm expecting a unit price, per kit, to be somewhere close to $400. Give or take a bit. (or a lot!)

My local importer turned me down this evening, I'm carrying on with contacting others....

Struck out with the third importer.

I've received one other possible name, however, with the responses I've received, I'm thinking that a home-grown solution might be the way to go.
