I always apply in the maximum number of zones choosing some zones that I really would like to hunt and some zones that have a lot of tags and/or that I guess won't be popular.

Dad finally drew a elk tag after 21 years. Took me 19 years to get mine. You have two options nowadays. Apply In zones that get less pressure or sit on your ass and wait for the good ones lol.
