Sask....gophers

I've been in contact with a couple of land owners from S.W. Sask where we have shot for 5 years now and they say the population is down due to a late winter snow....Seems like we might have to go and look for pockets of them. Any comments???? What are you guys finding?? We're heading to the Cadillac general area tomorrow for at least a 5 full day shootand any information would be helpful..............thanks.......................TBG.

In my little part of E. Central Sask., gopher numbers are way down, I would guess that there are only about 25% of what we had the last couple of years.

You are lucky to see one a day now. There was a gopher derby in Cadillac yesterday and I have no idea how it turned out or if they even had it. Its been raining here since early last year.

Still lots of gophers around Cadillac,Hazenmore, Tons around Val Marie. If we ever get a warm, sunny, relatively calm day, they should come out in #'s. Sposed to rain hard again this friday tho. good luck.
