SASK Reg Moose Season cut back....

Looks like they are on their way to phasing out Regular Rifle Moose and Archery Moose.

I can understand reducing rifle hunts but Archery Season?

I can only imagine IF numbers keep falling there will be "draw" only and reduced tags.

We also have total of 6 pools now so a person is likely going to only get drawn every 7-10 years now for Moose.

There is no quota enforced on Indigenous hunters and no banning of Night hunting like Manitoba is trying to bring in?

SERM better pull their heads out of their butts because this is not going to help....only piss off hunters and people won't buy tags=less $$$$$.

I farm. And I love to bow hunt. By shortening archery moose to September 25, it effectively cancels that season for me.

In less than 10 years hunting will be an aboriginals/metis only endeavour.
No hunting, no need for rifles & shotguns.
We know where that’s going.
My mother’s father was a full blood Cree Indian.
Maybe I should sign up with the local tribe and belong to a group with the ballz to stand up for their rights for a change.
