Hello From Saskatchewan

Well hello from the flatlands, I'm not new, but I have never introduced myself.

I'm an avid hunter, hiker, backpacker originaaly from Newfoundland. Spent a few years throughout Alberta, including Jasper, Grande Prairie and Edmonton.

I work at the hospital in Regina and live about a half hour away is some prime deer and waterfowl country, and yes... I have access.

Married with a 14 month old little guy and my wife is native to Grande Prairie.

Have a garage vwith a woodstove, and there is usually some thing on cookin"

Enjoy a few beers, the scattered snort of rum, the occasional taste of scotch, the frequent glass of MASI, and whatever else is on the go.

If you're full of ####, have pictures of your quads but none of your kids, then we might not be well suited. If ya love hunting whenever you can get away, well drop me a line..

My Sister lives in Regina & is an avid hunter. She has sent me some pictures of some very nice Whitetails taken in the Regina area. I'd post some photos of some she has sent to me, but don't feel it's right being they are not mine. So here is mine from last year.

Lots of fun & memories.

Hey welcome again or for the first time.....what friggin ever. I am in the city that rhymes with fun as well. Missed last season due to work issues but am geared and ready to go already for this year. Nice bucks, they are getting a bit harder to find now. We should all hit a pub for some drinks and a side of wings and BS sauce!!! LOL

I'm north of Saskatoon in Big River right now. From Regina originally and did some hunting near Avonlea last fall. I can't find a picture of my 4x4 right now.
The flat prairies still feel like home to me. Although I can't complaint about the fishing...

Hey cinch who's land were you on. I hunt there and a friend owns the land I use. Hmm, small world. Here is a pic of my purpose built hunting rig I built for a friend who didn't want to spend money on a quad...lol

Hey Char, same Char from306 CLUB??? It is a plain old Honda Big Red 250 with home made front and rear racks and a marine deep cycle battery that I run an inverter off of to power the lights at camp during the night.

yup, same char. I really like the look of that honda. I'd love using one of those for hunting (that is if i hunted) or driving around town, which i'm sure would be super illegal here.

I don't know the guy personally but it was near the Avonlea hills. Around the town of Dummer. I think I might just get a bird tag this fall. We scattered atleast 200 prairie chickens.

First Post from me!
Checking in from Birch Hills
Just a regular small town redneck who likes to shoot.
Spent my dinner today cruizing back roads with my 22 mag looking for gophers.
I have not done much shooting the last few years for some odd reason but recently started again and am back in full swing.
defiantly got my cherry popped a couple days ago shooting my co workers marlin 45-70 cowboy.
