Going for a spring bear, first time here in Saskatchewan

Can someone advise me on where I can go that will be crown land?

I would like to get into some forest and hills etc. Missin it quite a bit here since moving here.

How far North , East or West does not bother me. Just want to get a good weekend in the bush and at least the potential to get a bear.

Thanks

Once you get far enough north to hit the provincial forest, it's basically all crown land right to the territories. Something like 60% of the province is public land, and more or less 10% is water. Take your fishing rod.

What's a hill?;)

if your looking for bear you want to go about 10 min north of chelan which is just by greenwater park. north of kelliher and leross. just go north from ft quappelle. you can go all the way to porcupine plain and over to hudson bay. just north of hudson bay is logging cuts and that entire trip isgood bear moose and elk huntng. also hunt around round lake in the same area is great for bear and wolf.
