What is a good, durable, satin, but not stovepipe black paint for use on a fiberglass stock? I saw a krylon, but wondered if it would look flat like a woodstove. I want something that looks typical of black synthetic stocks.

Maybe you could seal it with a matte lacker for finishing. That way you'd have a protective non-glare top coating.
There are some very good matte spray finishing lackers on the market; I guess Skullboy or another paint expert can recommend the better ones.
PP.

Flat black is typical for synthetic stocks. There's flat, satin and gloss paint. Make sure you buy paint intended for fibreglass.
