Sauer 101 availability

Has anyone confirmed with any Canadian dealers when the new Sauer 101 will be available in Canada? These are slick looking guns and my experience with anything Sauer has been fantastic. Thoughts?

My dealer called the CDN distributor last week. Status is "special order" at least 4-6 months wait...and dont plan on having one for this years season. Msrp. Approx 2100. Cdn dollar is going down so I suspect you could add another 3 percent

Sorry I should have specified. 2.1k was for the synthetic XT no sights. Classic (wood) was +3k. Like yourself, I was hoping they would come in under the 85's or within Kimber range

First time I hear of this rifle and it looks pretty neat. About time Sauer comes up with something new. I also noticed they released a "final edition" of the illustrious Sauer 90 with gold and all the bells and whistles.

The safety looks decent-a big improvement over the push up in the trigger guard of the 202. Weight is good @ 6.74lbs. Dang the price though

Gunbroker has them listed at US dealers for $1499, I could import one through Prophet River for less and have it here by hunting season.
