OK, sold on grip stippling.

An easy alternative to grip stippling...

My gunsmith painted my grips with some kind of epoxy, and then sprinkled sandblasting media over it. Gives a nice, textured grip and is pretty easy to do. I've used it on mine for the last 6 years or so.
