Anyone shooting or have any experience with the Savage 10/110 synthetic with a clip, accustock and accutrigger? Im looking at buying a brand new rifle next year and im intersted in this one. Its either the savage or a model remington model 700 synthetic with a magazine.
I just need some feed back on how it performs is all.

Savage rifles are top notch and usually less expensive than a 700. Nothing wrong with a Rem M700. They're just more expensive. Neither use clips though. They use magazines.

Those goofy guys at Savage actually stamp the word "clip" on the detachable mags. I know because I have one of their 300WM "clips". I think the Savage rifles generally lack in classic looks and the action and barrel nut have a sort of utilitarian appearance. But, they generally shoot very well. I have two, one's a 300WM that started out as a 111FXCP3 or some silly name like that, and a 10MLII muzzloader. Kinda on the ugly side IMO, but they put a smile on your face when you see the holes in the target. None of mine are accutrigger. I think you need to handle one and see what you think of it. Not everyone is a fan as its a little unconventional for a rifle trigger. Its more an issue of preferance for the conventional or not.

I have a Model 10 Precision Carbine on the way. It has Accostock & Accutrigger. I'll try to post a range report later. I'm also thinking about the Model 10 Scout - Accutrigger & stock, Williams adjustable peep, sling, & detachable clip. I wouldn't mount a scope. I like the idea of a very portable, reasonably powerful rifle with iron sights. Face it...I have the bug bad.

Accutrigger

I have a savage mk2 with the accutrigger and i love it. Im definatly going to have to find a 11/110 to handle to see how it feels. right now i shoot a pre 64 model 70 in .270 but its over 50 years old and due for retirement.
