Hi all,

I have gone through a lot of our site sponsers to no avail. I am searching for a mag or two for my 10 BA. I have been told that Ruger makes a polymer mag for half the price too. I am not sure of what model of Ruger I should focus on for these mags though. Any ideas?

They take AI mags. The Ruger ones are manufactured for the Scout (same fitment).

My brother has the 10 ba as well and had wanstalls bring in the ai mags because they said they fit , when he had them check it at the counter , sadly the ai mags didn't fit , putting them side by side they looked identical but for whatever reason they did not want to work . Something to think about before you pay for shipping ......

Can't speak about fitment that way but the Savage 10ba mag will fit in the AICS chassis with no problems.

They make a few different styled mags. The BA should fit the AICS ones, maybe they ordered the AW ones instead?

Entirely possible , the guys at the counter were convinced they'd work , I'm not saying they don't fit for sure , just that they didn't work on my brothers . I think you might be right about the AW mags , seems like that could well be the problem ?
