I have a Savage 10 BA Stealth in .308 that I was running an old bushnell legend scope on while waiting for my PST II to come in. Scope has now arrived (Viper PST II 5-25x50 FFP EBR-2c MRAD), I have a 20 MOA Rail I've put on, harris 6-9 swivel and swapped to an XLR style buttstock stock. Barrel is 20" 1/10 twist with a factory blueprinted action. Still need to grab rings but have a few other questions.

I have shot it in stock configure with the bushnell out to 500m fairly easy just doing hold overs as it was a mil reticle and moa adjust and I didn't care to do the conversions. I've been using Nosler Custom Competition Match 175gr and it has done very well. I plan to start reloading and am looking for suggestions on loads to get the max range I can from the rifle as I'm a member at Edson 1 mile range.

Looking for any other advice on loads, set up, auxiliary gear to aid me in improving and learning long range shooting. Later I intend to step up to a larger cal likely a 300 win mag but wanna get rid of the training wheels first. I have a chrony and will be picking up a kestrel once I save up a lil more. Also advice on a good beginner reloading kit that will handle this and 300 win mag in the future is appreciated.

Thanks
