I have one but it is the older model has different bottom metal and uses metal mags. (Accurate mag) the more recent ones come with the Savage plastic mags and I have read a lot of complaint's of feeding issues.

first batch had issues with the mags not feeding if you put in 10 rounds. if you put in 9 or less they worked fine. depending on how good it is out of the box accuracy ill either get a MDT chassis or just replace bottom metal that will take accurate mags or something else.

I would say that you should'nt be dissapointed, as Savage is 95% awesome, especially regarding what you get for your money. I have a Savage 10, but not this exact model, so I can't say much. What will be your caliber choice? What is the price for this little beast?

Funny I was just looking at this one as my possible next purchase. Pretty happy with my Axis .223. Was comparing to a Mossberg Night Train in .308. Both seem like a good bang for the buck. Still not 100% sure which one I'm gonna go with.
