It comes with the 0MOA rail on it.
I am a total new guy to long range so don't take my word for it.
I have bought a 20MOA rail to eventually shoot to 700-800

Glad i didnt d!cked around before buying.
I almost held out to next pay day, just had a feeling these would fly off the shelves.

They are a nice gun, (I got one). A real pleasure to shoot, no recoil, and the trigger is awesome. Only advice I can give is, get the low rings....I have a Vortex 4-16HST with 44mil obj and low rings are as high as you want to go. There is still 1 cm clearance from barrel. I originally had high rings and a sore neck to prove it....

Also if you even consider doing the ORA matches, get a 10 round mag...

I'm also torn between the accu-stock and Boyd's Stock. I have a Savage 16 in 308 in a Boyds and a Savage 16 in 223 in an Accu-stock. Both are MOA with me behind the wheel and IMHO, the Boyds looks better. Time will tell if my 10TR ends up in a Boyds.

And yes, SFRC is the place to buy!

Got mine in the mail yesterday! Can't wait to get it out to the range. I put a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x40 on it, and the low rings line it up just right for me with the factory stock. I ordered an HK style brake from Dark Metal Designs in Oregon. Users seem to be very pleased with it.

Thanks for the awesome deal, SFRC!!!

I love love lov mine, it shoots so damn true! Totally outshot my old mossy night train, m14, and 700! Crazy value for the buck, but it likes heavier 168 - 178gr bt rounds :)

I was talking to a guy in the Calgary Police Service, lamenting my occasional flyers out of an otherwise superbly accurate rifle. He said the trick with the Federal match grade 168gn is to seat the bullets .005" deeper. I haven't had the chance to try this yet but wanted to share that info. As is I'll get 3 rounds, holes touching, at 200 yards then a couple flyers that have a 1.5" spread. So the first 3 are 1/4 moa, then the 2 flyers make it 3/4 moa. I'm very happy with the rifle, but it's nice to know it can shoot even better! But, so far, 5 rounds at 600m in a 5" group is pretty decent for a $600 rifle:)

putting a weaver super slam 4-20 and alberta tactical 5/8-24 brake...

Does it come with the scope mount on it?

Yes, but do yourself a favour and spend $100 for a good Farrel rail. The factory rail is aluminum and 0moa elevation. 20moa rail is perfect for this rifle if you want to reach out to 900m+

The Savage Model 10TR 308 Win. . So , now that some time has passed ; what was the outcome for these rifles . Were they as good as the hype , did folks keep them , use them in competition , use them for work purposes , pass them on , or regret buying them as they now seem to be out of production ?

You bumped a 10 year old thread to ask what Google could tell you?
