Reportedly, the hollow tip can catch on the feeding ramp lip of these white box 45 grainers.
Make sure the mag box is tight to the bottom of the feed ramp which should have a sharp, flat bottomed lip and have no burrs. The follower probably has little pressure at the front because it is the rear that needs the bulk of the pressure. If you bend the mag spring remember you are robbing force from the rear. Bending the feed lips is not something I like to do, usually that makes a different problem. The feed ramp bottom has corners where the mag box retaining slot is cut and can be filed carefully to make a feeding angle. I have no idea if that is where some of wwb 45 stuff is hitting, never had it happen. Like the ammo, what groups are you getting?
