What would be a good set of bases and rings for a savage 10fp? I've heard the 20"moa bases are really good but I don't want to spend a fortune on them. I'll be taking gophers for the most part and eventually start reloading and getting into the precision game.

Use Burris Custom signature zee rings with the plastic inserts, and you will have the ability to add inserts that change the elevation, if need be. Mysticprecision on here can sell you the rings and the inserts. They work with standard weaver bases or picatinny bases.
