Is it the rifle or just me, ive owned a fcp-sr and many of their rim fires. This new 308 10TR is very wiggly after pulling trigger... Tight and firm when firing pin is loaded and waiting to release, but notice is sloppy when not.. Any one else have this ?

Check your big screw on the back of bolt. Sounds like that could be your problem.

Not a problem.. that is how they are all made.
Doesn't affect firing and a good thing when you need to cycle the action in a hurry.

Everything is tight, I cleaned and oiled it up. Full disassembly and reassembly (with Loctite where appropriate)
Thanks ! I kinda figured that's just how they are for the price. Hearing it from you puts it to rest... Literally anyone else on this board could have said the same thing id still be worried. Much appreciated !

Remember, that with the floating bolt head, the rest of the bolt body is just along for the ride.
It doesn't affect accuracy and the design works very well if conditions get mucky.

I've had a dozen savage rifles now... Non can hold a candle to my No1mk3 enfield for bolt slop.

They were made with loose tolerances in order to handle the mud & sand etc. encountered in combat.
