Savage 11 FCNS help

I recently bought a savage 11 fcns. i have been noticed that the action is really hard to pull up once fired i was wondering if this is normal or if it is defective. is there any thing i can do to fix it?

My sako a7 was like this, even if empty. It tunrs out it is the cocking ramp on the bolt is not perfect and needed a little grease. Another guy on here said he has a weatherby that has this problem. Not sure if this is your problem but good luck.

Hello Kalinot:

I have a Model 11FCNS in .223 and I have never experienced a stiff bolt as you describe.

Are you using factory ammunition or reloads? I have read that a stiff bolt could be an over pressure sign if you are using reloaded ammunition; although I have never experienced this.

Hey guys thanks for the help upon vary close inspection of the bolt cocking ramp i noticed a vary small deformity and crak of the bolt body
