Savage 110 Walnut Stock

Brownells told me they couldn't ship that stock out of the country because the manufacturer (Woodplus) wasn't registered with the state. They told me the manufacturer has to be registered before their products can be sent internationally.

Great American Gunstock Co has them and they ship up here - or at least they did a few years ago.

Stay FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR away from Great American Gunstock. Absolute horrible company. Both my own experience as well as others' shows this.

I've heard some complaints too, but my experience was positive. Good price, fast shipping and good, if a little rough (exterior - inletting was good) product.

The only negative thing I could say is the guy on the phone didn't have very good people skills.

Whichever stock you decide upon, be careful that you get one with the correct holespacing for your action. In the last few years, Savage seems to have made quite a few changes in this area, and it's easy to get the wrong stock for your particular action. I also seem to recall reading that accutrigger models require slightly modified inletting vs. non-accutriggers.
