HI Any advice on converting long action 1980's Savage 110c (side release mag) in 7mm rem mag to a new blind mag stock? read somewhere that it can be done using the original magazine parts but wondering if anyone has done it. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Savage 110c LA conversion to blind mag stock

I have one listed on here in 7RM 1993.
Where the button was, has been closed with a nice small piece of walnut.
Using the same stock, the shorter mag is for 110FC/111FC lightweight (PN 106242).
This mag will slide up into the metal bottom of action and can be attached permanent.
The bottom metal will have to be opened up just a bit to accept the shorter mag.
