savage 110fp first shoot this spring

Depending you feel the rifle (Don't get me wrong but Savage stock aren't the best at this & of course your abilities), you should get 1/2inch group at 100m.

Owned .223 & .308 & thats what I got for mine & those of my friend had the same results with a 1.8lbs trigger set & Fed Match ammo.

However with a .300WM since you have a 110FP, I would guess 1MOA 'd be the average with factory stuff.

Pump off 2 rounds or 5 ( 3 boosts the ego more) then find the max spread of the 3 and measure from the CENTRES of the 2 furthest holes, you did not mention calibre but by others experience anywheres from .3 to 3.5 seems about right for a savage

For kicks & gophers, I'll be using .223 AE 50gr HP's & I can get 0.5'' with it.

Your 12FV in 223 is the same twist as my 700P in 223 that being 1/9...I have never tried the 50 grainers...How do the 40 and 45 do with your twist ????

It's a .223 10FP..50gr isthe lowest I went so far & the highest was 69gr BTHP's
I plan to load a few 75gr BTHP'S & A-Max's in the near future..let you guys know.

CGN Savage had good results with the above mentioned .
