Savage 111 7mm Rem Mag

I purchased a Savage 111 7mm Rem Mag FCXP3. The F means Syn. Stock, The C means Det. Clip Magazine. XP is a package gun. What does the 3 represent? Thanks. Jim B

I have no idea what the 3 means, but I have a 111 International trophy hunter in 7mm. They are awesome rifles for the money, enjoy your new toy!

I don't think the 3 really means anything....savage make a FCXP3 and FXP3 and the difference is the accutrigger, yet they both can have detachable mags and sometimes the FCXP3 is an internal mag. (no clip)

^^^ Also wrong.

There was no sling included in the FCXP3 package.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean anything to us, outside of Savage.

I think you got ripped off...all packages I've bought have come with a sling (although its not much of sling).
