Hey Gunsmiths,
Wondering what your thoughts are on the wear pattern on the baffle for my savage 111. It is from a used rifle, I don't know the history of the firearm. The baffle showed wear, and had a small dent on the outboard edge. Since replacing the bolt handle the wearing has gotten worse and now will occasionally not extract. There are a few hundred rounds through the action since replacing the bolt.
Serial number on the bolt matches the receiver. Glades armory bolt handle. I have not fiddled with the bolt, other than replacing the bolt handle.
Should I look for a replacement baffle, or is this a symptom of something else?

Some photos.

Not a gunsmith bit I have a few ideas

are you using light / med or Heavy Loads ?

are you using grease on cam surface ?

is there a burr on the bolt, on the corner of the cam surface ?

Plainly, the extraction camming surface does not match up with the bolt handle very well. Do use some lube on this surface.

JHSF - loads are not very hot. I do use some grease on the cam surface. I will check for a burr. Thanks.

Leeper-Thanks. Should I have them worked on to have them match up better?

Should be smoothed out and the handle could be built up to increase primary extraction. I have not often seen this sort of issue on a Savage.

Thanks Leeper. I have tried out my google'ing skills, and have not come across others who have posted about the issue. I have a new baffle coming, and will get a gunsmith (or someone with the skills, and tools) to "time" this action up.

Update:

Turns out some of my reloading practices may not have been ideal for the longevity of my rifle. I wasn't cleaning the brass every time I reloaded (I would wipe them off with a scouring pad, in my drill when I was checking overall length using my trimmer). Anyhow, chamber is all pitted. Cleaned it up, tried some polished brass, and voila action works just fine. Thanks to Larry at Saskatoon Gunsmith Shoppe for scoping it for me!
