I am considering buying a Savage 112 in 7mm REM mag
I have googled and there is not a lot of info out there
It has a SS fluted barrel and a synthetic stock
Does anyone have any insight or info on this rifle?
I have only fired a 7mm a few times and would like some opinions.
The fella selling it showed me some range results and it seems to be a tack driver at 200 yards.
Opinions and info would be greatl;y appreciated

I like the caliber, my hunting partner has used his Browning for almost 30 years for Moose, Elk and Deer, I recently acquired a Carl Gustaf In 7mm and sold my model 70 270wsm (reluctantly ), I have owned several Savage rifles and I doubt if I would buy another, (I had a bad experience with a new Savage)although many people love them, I just find to many other brands new and used for the same money that I like more.

I've posted info on this rifle on previous threads but here goes again. I have something very similar. A Savage 112 BVSS in .25-06 and mine has a laminate stock. Relatively speaking, an 'inexpensive' rifle but I did put 'decent' glass on it.

'Bang for the buck', it sure does shoot.
