Savage 114 Euro Classic

Just bought one in .30-06, haven't got a chance to take it to the range yet. It is going to stay open sights for the time being. Anyone have any experience with them?

Nice looking rifle...only why do they call it a Euro classic when it is only offered in NA cartridges?

I'd love to see these offered in 6.5x55, 7x57, etc.

I agree, and would have been equally as happy with a different cartridge (.270,.308,.7x57, etc.) but the price was right, and it never hurts to have an '06 in the collection.
