Only people that own them....

What is your overall experience with them? Accuracy? Fit and finish? And value for the money?

I saw one of these at the range the other day and it looked really nice.

I shot the gun on Saturday (Savage day @ PoCo club) in 300 win mag with the muzzle break open and closed. Frankly I like it with open brake much more (I was shooting standing) - much easier on the ears and the recoil was just a little more pronounced and somehow more authentic with the muzzle rising upwards...
I really like the balance of the gun for offhand shooting.

It's deafening and probably not necessary on a 7.75 lb gun in 300 or 338. $1000 for a Savage with a plastic camo stock wouldn't necessarily be my definiton of value either.

I never shoot without ear protection so the noise isn't really a problem, plus that is why you can turn off the brake.... And 1000 bucks doesn't seem that bad, its all stainless with a fluted barrel and a brake. I was more looking for people who own it to give opinions

never shot one but they seem like a decent rifle, a bit on the heavy side (which isn't bad for a 300 & 338wm). Fluted barrel is cool, and will increase killing power

You can get more rifle for $1K and not be stuck with a camo stock, fluted barrel (300 and 338 don't meed the extra killing power) and useless (meaning unnecessary) brake.
