Savage 116flss

Any owners of these rifles, I'm looking at one with the accutrigger and accustock in 270. What can I expect for accuracy from them. Will they shoot better than a Remington 700 CDL. Never owned a Savage but the price is right for 685.00 new.

My 116 in .270 shoots great!! has the accutrigger but not the new stock..... but i want one! The thing with any remington that ive owned is it costs at least $100.00 to tune the trigger and another $100>$150 to get it glass bedded.With a savage these added expenses do not exist. mine loves H1000 for groups but my hunting load is 57 gr. IMR 4831 with a 140 gr. accubond this shoots sub moa and produces an honest 3000 ft/sec

ps. my model 12 [26" SS fluted tube with laminate stock] in .223 put 9out of 10 rounds into .610" at 100 yds. the other day, and all 10 into .790" I own 4 savages now and want MORE !!!

For such a simpler manufacturing process, Savage did it right. You can't go wrong with their products.
