Savage 11GCNS or Savage 14 American Classic????

I'm buying either a Savage 11GCNS or Savage 14 American Classic in 22-250.

I have a Stevens model 200 in 22-250 and I'm upgrading to a detachable box magazine and the accutrigger. (stevens model 200 may make it to the exchange forumn)

I was just wondering if there is any major difference between the two rifles either than a higher quality wood grain that would justify the extra $200 dollars??

Its not a price thing because the gun itself for me will be free. At work we get gift certificates for safety awards and I have enough to buy either. I'm just wondering what makes it worth the extra $200 bucks.

Any input would be appreciated
 
The American Classic has a high luster blued finish and nice walnut stock. While the base Savage is basically identical, it is not nearly as nice looking. I suggest you get your eyes on each before deciding.
