I have a Savage 12 BVSS in .223 that I am going to be using mostly off the bench. It has a internal mag that holds around 3 shots. I know I can feed it one at a time on top of the mag, but what to know if I could remove the mag and install one of those solid alluminum plates? Are there any that are made as a prefit part for this gun? Thanks Roscoe

I use one in my mod 12 with the internal mag. you don't have to remove the mag. Just depress the mag spring and place the single shot loading ramp on top of it. I got my from these guys back when they were shipping across the border. I think Mystic Precision carries it. or Brownell's.
