Savage 12BVSS - convert to 5 rd?

Out of the box, the .223 rifle has a 4 round, blind box magazine. Is there any way to upgrade the 12-serise rifles to 5 rounds? Different stock?

Yep. Love the 12-series, but I need five rounds on tap, not four. I just thought I'd ask if there was an expediant conversion, before ruling the rifle out for something else.

My Savage Steven holds 5 rds in the mags, It says only 4 on the site, But when I put 4 rds in it there was extra room for 1 1/2 more rds...Works fine, I can have 5+ 1.

Really...that's good to know. Anyone else notice this with a .223 Savage? Is this common or is Rob's rifle a one-of?
