Can anyone give me any feedback on this rifle? I am looking into buying one sometime this month. But I don't really know much about rifles. I can get it for $579. Good deal, bad deal? piece of crap? or good rifle? Accurate? etc.

Heh thanks. That thread settles that question. I wll be buying one at the end of the month to get into some long range shooting. Thanks for the lead on the post.

Savage rifles have always been the best bang for your buck. Good ammo is essential though.
