SAVAGE 16 fcss

ordered the NEW model 16 fcss .243 cal.with the bolt release in front of the trigger guard in january and i am still waiting to receive it ..i can get the old model with the bolt release near the bolt but i don't want the old model 16 fcss .the new model also has 4 screws on the bottom ..why is it taking so long to receive a rifle made in the USA ??????

Anything that your local shop's distributor doesn't have is a special order and will take time. Customs, on both sides of the border, etc. Could be that they're having trouble finding one too.

Are they on backorder, if so you could be waiting a bit longer yet. Where'd you order from?, I usually go with Cabelas I find the service is good with them

McComber Archery ..near MONTREAL Que.. i should have ordered a .243 cal. T/C barrel ..it fits right into my ENCORE frame ...oh well as long as i get it before deer hunting season ..

I walked into Cabelas in Wpg and 20 mins later walked out with the gun TS has ordered. Sorry for your bad luck. They are a nice gun BTW
