Savage 17 93r firing pin.

I have a savage 17 93r. I must have a weak firing pin or spring. I had about 8-30 shots misfire. Anyone else had this issue, know of a fix, or something i can try? I took the bolt apart and cleaned it already but didnt help. Thanks in advance

Are you shooting Winchester ammo?

The 93r17 uses the bolt to set head space - take a look at your bolt where it rests against the receiver - is it worn out?
Over lubing?

Was my first thought as well haha. Absolute utter garbage that ammo! My 93r17 BTVS has only ever misfired with that such ammo, hornady, federal and Cci no issues at all. Happy shootin
