Savage 170 "b" 35 rem.

I did buy one a few years back, for resale. While I owned it, a 30-30, I did some reading on the 'net about the 170. Apparently, some gunsmiths wouldn't work on them. Seems that they were a real nasty thing to reassemble properly.

Some had feeding problems in 30/30. Don't know if the 35 fed better due to being a rimless case?
The 35 rem was a reliable feeder from what I've read whereas the 30-30 was known to jam due to the case. This 35 belongs to a friend i hunt with and hasn't jammed in the last 3 years he's hunted it.
