Savage HMR bolt misfires much more frequently than in the past any one with a quick fix or do I have to contact savage.If so does anyone have the contact information.Thanks in advance for your time

How is it misfiring? is the rim being dented or light strikes or even no marks visible?

Had mine apart turns out there was a lot of burrs (poor machining in the groove for the firing pin) gave a bit of a rub with fine grit emery works like a charm now.

My 93r17 didn't misfire, but it had the worst trigger I've ever seen. Very rough, overly long travel. Just about needed vise grips on it to shoot it. I've bought old military rifles with better triggers. Bought a Rifle Basix trigger, very easy install, problem solved.

I have the same problem with misfires. . . it just lightly dents the case rim.?
