Savage 1909

Wondering if any one out there has seen a recent sale of one of these little Savage pumps?
Stock has been refinished, but there are/were no dings of any consequence in it. I think all is original, including sights and the bore is shiny.

Sometimes you just get tired of trying to get a spoiled cat to act like a normal cat and just get out of the way!

Hey Bruce,

Can't say for sure where Joe is at but I can tell you he is on the prowl for these mag fed ones moreso than the tube fed model. $200???? Bluing is pretty wore and a redone stock does not add value.

I've been around, just real busy with work lately.

Got a 1909 myself, actually just changed the mainspring in it not more than 2 months ago. Was only firing every second shot so I took the chance it was the spring and not the firing pin. I guessed right but it was a bugger getting the damn thing in.

Also have a 1903, 1904, 1905, 1911, 1912, 19-33, and models 25, 29 and 7. Love my old Savage rimfires as well as the centerfires!

BTW, that little 1909 will take care of the cat problem real quick.
