nothing particularly unusual-except it had a plastic stock[looked like a Nylon 66].I don't know what it weighed but it seemed much lighter than the wood stocked models.Selector was a button on the side .Don't know how old it was -but it had to be 30 or 40 years.The stock was marked up and somebody had carved their initials in it.I don't know if these stocks could be refinished or not.

I beadblasted my plastic stock then oiled them, Turned out very good.

this plastic stocked stevens/savage 24 seems to be quite a bit lighter than the current models-one of the things I don't like about them.
