hi all, i have a quick question about a tight little savage 24 i have in 22mag/20ga. i got the chance to fire this gun for the first time the other week (used gun but new to me). everything went great and i am more than pleased with how the gun shoots except for the fact that it is shooting high. right now there is a bead screwed into the barrel (which looks like it has been filed down) and a dovetail rear sight. i was thinking of replacing the front sight with a fiber optic screw in type, now this is where the problem lies. the curve of the 22 barrel is so tight and most of the fiber optic sights are made for pistol or shotguns with a flat mounting surface and would look really bad if i just plopped one on. i did find this one on the cabella's site http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...s&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=sight&noImage=0 but of coarse they wont ship it to the great white north. so does anyone have any ideas? i assume i need my front site to be higher than it is now so where i'm aiming and my poi are closer than it is now. thanks
