I posted that on the rim fire section and got nothing….
Good day all, I just got a model 24 P 22mag over 20 gauge in a trade and in really good condition, it is the series where the barrels are not soldered together on the entire length(less desirable I heard) and was wondering if I should expect some problems with the fact that the barrels are not like the old ones?
I heard that the rifle and shotgun barrel don’t regulate properly on these models(separate barrels) is it a fact or is it just something that did happened in some of them and others were totally fine?
Is there a way to regulate the barrels if they don’t have same point of impact?
What was the distance that they should be regulated, 25y 30y 40y…?

I've never considered these combo guns anything but a shotgun with a rifle barrel attached. I would shoot both barrels, using an X on a patterning board. If your shot pattern is close to your point of aim, you'll be fine. If I remember correctly, the barrels have a 2-loop band towards the front. Either loop could be slightly honed and set screws installed to shift point of impact, but use the firearm at a reasonable distance. Ultimately, you aim a rifle with sights and point a shotgun.

Tons of low end Euro combos made like that in centerfire cartridges, they are what they are, shot gun is a shotgun, but those pencil barrel bolted together affairs were not much more accurate then a shotgun on the rifle side.
Your bonus is it's 22mag, while not the.most accurate rimfire cartridge, should be acceptable with that arrangement.
