I would like to see if anyone can give me an idea of the approximate value of this gun. It is a Savage 24V B series with 30/30 and 20 gauge barrels. The bores are mint and the bluing/case hardening is excellent except for a spot on the upper barrel that has been rubbed off. The stock has some handling marks around the butt stock and a couple of dents. The scope is only a 1.5 power.

Thanks. Steve

Epp's is asking $499 for a .410/.22 24D. That'd be retail though. There was one on Gunaddicts the guy couldn't sell at $375.

There was a 24V 222/20 with Bushnell scope that sold on EE in the spring for $600. There was a Stevens 2400 that sold this winter on EE. I can't remember the caliber (either 308/12 or 222/12) or the exact price. I think it was about $925. They both sold within days, as have several others in smaller calibers. Suffice to say, I think there is a market for these hunting rifles, with a limited suppy, especially in 3030.
If I were to sell my 24V 3030/20 I'd start at $750 with the Weaver K4*38.

I have one in .222/20 that has been really good and useful as a coyote calling gun and I have shot lots of grouse with it as well as coyotes.

I also have one in 30/30 over 20.

I reckon if you could get a picture of you holding your gun with a white-tail on the ground and a couple grouse in your hand the value would go up.
