savage 24v

Hi. Had one, long ago, in .223. The .223 case is 60 thou longer that the .222, so any smithy who has the tools(important or you'll pay for 'em and not get to keep 'em. Reamers are rentable from the U.S. though.) can do it.
Epp's smithy starts at $125.
 
The twist rate for a 222 to 223 change is not conducive to shooting readily available 55 grain ammo very well. Handloaded 35 to 45 grain ammo seems to be ok if you can find a suitable load.
