Savage 300F trigger replacement

I own a Savage 300F trapper 22lr. Anyone know what I can replace the horrendous trigger with? The pull is ridiculous. From what I hear, I can replace it with an accutrigger setup but I can't find parts anywhere.

I also saw some people putting shims in the between the rifle barrel and trigger group but I would rather avoid that route if possible.

Any help will be appreciated.

I had a 300f And then picked up a savage mark ii from a friend. Swapped out the accutrigger and then moved the mark ii for a little less but found value in the accutrigger so it worked out. Savage does not sell triggers as far as i know. After shooting the 300f for a bit i sold it too and now have another mark ii. The novelty of the stevens wore off, I prefer the longer barrel.

I switched the spring in the trigger today with a smaller less stiff one I found in my junk trunk of parts. It cut the trigger pull in half apparently so I'm happy with that. Everything still functions as it should. I might polish the pieces in the future. Can't beat free!

In theory yes. I just don't know if I need a whole accutrigger style trigger group or just a trigger.
