Savage 300wsm Questions

Heres the scenario:

I have a Savage 10TR that is mounted in a MDT chassis, and have the accustock with the steel magazine from the 10TR laying around. I'd like to get a model 11 300wsm and drop it into the accustock. Will the 300wsm cartridges fit and function in the 10TR 308 magazine? Not worried about capacity, just function.

Doubtful. I believe that new production Savage rifles have a centre feed magazine. If so the WSM will most likely be too fat to work properly.
