I have a brand new Savage 320 tactical SG that has been having issues with rounds jamming at an angle on the right side of the chamber before going into battery.
This is inconsistent but it will happen once or twice out of 10 rounds. Basically the round jams on the Right side and wont allow me to pump the round in. If I take my finger and push the round I can then slide it into the chamber and fire it.

No issues with extraction and ejection this happens with any type of 2 3/4" ammo I use. This SG was sent into gunsmith for warranty repair and they didn't fix the problem all they said was they polished a few things and checked and it works for them which means the lazy morons just cycled a few dummy rounds and said its fine.

The attached pic is an example of where the round is hitting inside the chamber.

Any ideas on how to address this?

Rack it in hard and fast, don’t give the spring time to try and eject the new round. I’ve had my 320 for a number of years, it likes to be punished! Only word of warning, very light spot welds where the tube that secures the foregrip meets the action bars.

What brand of ammunition have you been using? I know different shotgun by my Stevens 350 hated Winchester that you found at Canadian Tire/Walmart. Was very inconsistent in cycling, switched to decent target loads and slugs and buck never had an issue again.
