Savage 340 barrel threads

I noticed while browsing that the Savage 340 ( same rifle as the CIL 830) has a barrel nut similar in appearance to the Savage 110 etc. Does anyone have knowledge whether or not the barrel threads are the same? ie. able to interchange barrels?
Just a curiosity question.
