savage 340 optics?

I have a savage model 340 in .225w with a weaver K4 in a 1" side/angle mount. It's a nice vintage setup and shoots and shows great. I find the optics a little underpowered despite the fine crosshairs. The K4 also seems to suffer during low light conditions by today's standards. I would like to upgrade the scope.
This particular mount fits flush to the scope tube along the bottom and left side throughout the centre section of the tube. This rules out any scope with a 3rd turret or a belt or band wrapping all the way around the tube at the turrets, which is common. The K4 has the turrets protruding directly from the tube w/o a raised belt wrapping around the tube. Are there any good quality scopes manufactured today that will work with this mount? Or is there a different mount that I should be considering?
Hopefully someone understands my problem and has some suggestions. I can add pics at a later date if necessary.
Thanks

I have a number of Bushnell 3200's, several years old, that all have the turrets mounted directly to the tube...no saddle. I don't know about current production models.

your other option is to take your mount and remove some metal for the scope of your choice and then paint the mount black etc. some time and a dremel or handtools or a small milling machine would be all you would need to do the job.
