Did Savage ever chamber the H&H?

I may stand to be corrected, but I'd be surprised if the Savage action is long enough for an H&H length cartridge. Perhaps one could be built into a .375 Ruger on a custom basis.

I saw one of these rifles at the gun range in Yellowknife. It is a great looking gun. If it was still available, I would scoop one up. It looks better than any Savage I ever saw.
