Savage 64 action not closing

It's been an awesome rifle and I've never had a feed jam with it, but latley the action hasent been closing and some time is dosent feed a new round. I keep my guns clean and use them after ever use, but latley this thing has been pissing me off. Kinda sucks when my semi auto isn't doing its job. Any advice what IU should look at and check?

Do you completely disassemble it to clean? If so, did it go back together properly? If not, then disassemble and clean thoroughly and reassemble.

I adore my 64.
After my 64 is clean, I run it dry. I lube only for rust prevention, not function. They should get a thorough cleaning every 500-1000 rds.

Yeah not sure. Ill clean it again. I do take it compleatly apart to clean it. Ill pull it apart and do it again and takenit out this weekend.
