Savage 64 interchangeable with Lakefield 64b???

I have an old Lakefield model 64b 22lr autoloader rifle and the magazine housing assembly is cracked and was wondering if the Savage 64 parts are interchangeable with the older Lakefield model? If not where might i find replacement parts for my lakefield??

Is your mag the metal one or plastic?
I have some new housings for the 64B because they use the metal mags.
If your mag is the older one made of plastic, you can convert your gun to the new type of metal mag.

If this is an option, take careful measurements. Some of the early 64's did not cycle the length of the 64B's and thus the magazine/feed ramp assembly is too long, giving feed issues. I have this problem as we speak. Looks like it's a job for the mill, only to lengthen the distance for the bolt to travel (and make a new safety detent).
