I’m bored and got a savage 64 I don’t really use so obviously I need to bubba the crap out of it with mods I know a lot of these mods exist but I’m not sure where to get them any recommendations for stores?

I’d like to get

Extended mag release
Extended bolt
Lighter trigger
Extended mags (I know 20 rounders exist are there drum mags around?)
Pic rail for mounting a red dot( currently has a weaver type rail)
Folding stock with pistol grip? Do they exist?

Any information on where to get these parts (preferably in Canada) is much appreciated

I know Mcarbo has triggers and trigger kits for the rifle. Should improve upon it's general use. But other then that I don't know of much for it. I think even though it's cheap there really isn't too much of an aftermarket for these. They occupy the budget gun, with no frills category and the third party market seems to reflect that. Try Bullseyenorth for the spring kit, but it's widely carried.

Some ideas for 64 mods

The MCarbo spring kit is good since the Sear spring is a odd double-loop type of thing, but I repld the T-return spring with about 1/3 of a bic spring. Polishing all the innerds w-1000g helps, especially the Sear 'ledge' and the inside of the receiver. Anything that causes friction. I 'extended the charging handle with a self-tapping bolt and a loose nut riding on it - really bubba but works well. I also 'funneled' the mag well, stock and bottom plate. And a bit of coat-hanger on the mag-release with a dab of JB, helps immensely. I added a reflex scope and lite - it came with a flash-hider. And a strap-on cheek riser. In all it's bubba-tac

That is amazing and I love everything about it

Thanks Hamster ;) I bought this back when the LG Registry was dropped and did lots thru the years. A challenge to make a $150(back then) rifle 'better'.
As for the cheek pad, after I took that pic I was at the range and found that using the Reflex made the riser un-necessary so removed it. It was only $9 a few years ago, now they're ca $20.

25 & 50 yds with Reflex dot (UTG $40 3-years ago) > First group @ 25 w/Vertical slash; 2nd w/Horizontal; 50yd shot after 25. I used a 6-o'clock hold after the first 5, so as to Not block the POAim. The dot is 3-4 MOA.

Not bad I managed to get mine a couple years ago for 200$ off a local guy but not long after I inherited a 1022 so it didn’t get much use

The want to bubba it came from playing a zombie game that had a “prepers 1022” in it with a bunch of mods, didn’t want to mess up my 1022 and new ones are expensive so I figured the savage was a good substitute

Yep, if you can't do it - Buy it. For ca $30 the replacements are worth it. Mine took 1/2 hour with a file to round off the Hex-flats of the nut and bolt. The OEM charger is cr-p. Same for the Mag release - I drilled a hole and stuck a bit of wire in, then a dab of JB to 'soften' it.
The MCarbo spring kit gives you a good Sear Spring with reduced pull, but as I said, a clik-pen spring took off almost 1# by itself - at No cost.
